Working for ERCCIS

Volunteering

Volunteers are a vital element to the operations of ERCCIS and we have worked throughout the years with an amazing team of volunteers.

We understand the reasons why people volunteer are many and varied and we would like to involve people in a way that will make it a mutually rewarding and enjoyable experience. Volunteering for ERCCIS is an excellent way to make contacts with those involved in nature conservation and build key skills to develop your career.

The work at ERCCIS is varied, so no matter what your skill base we are interested to hear from you. Some of the work ERCCIS volunteers do includes: processing wildlife records for the ERCCIS database; assisting the Wildlife Information Service; helping to manage the ERCCIS website and social media sites; validating species records; various GIS projects; helping to write species and habitat guides and many other potential tasks!
